Delicious and Gluten Free!

Who says Gluten Free can't be delicous? This whole meal is not only delicious, but really easy to put together! The appetizer tray:

 was put together with selections from the deli in my local supermarket, which only leaves about 30 minutes prep to complete the whole meal!  Check your deli for great olives, prosciutto, cream cheese with chutney, and good gluten free rice crackers. Then prepare the rest of the meal as below: Serves two. Adjust accordingly for your group.


4-5 Yukon Gold Potatoes, cut in 1 to 1 and 1/2 inch chunks
2 Tbsp Heavy Cream
2 Tbsp Butter
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
Salt & Pepper to taste

2 Filet Mignon Steaks
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste

2 Lobster Tails (thawed)
Clarified Butter (melt the butter over low heat, skim off the solids, and pour the remainder in a bowl for dipping)

Start the water boiling for the potatoes and another pot of water for the lobster at the same time. That way you're ready. Also, start the grill, heating up to high heat.

Once the water is boiling, add your potatoes, and cook for about 10 minutes. Add the lobsters at this time to the boiling water in the lobster cooking pot for the last 10 minutes of the potato cooking time.

Once you put the lobsters in the pot, put the steaks on the high heat grill, 5 minutes on first side, 3 minutes on the other side. Pull off and let rest.

At this time, the potatoes should be done, check with a fork. Drain, and mash with the heavy cream, butter, garlic powder and salt and pepper.

Serve the steaks with the mashed potatoes, add a lobster tail and your favorite veg. Pour the clarified butter into a bowl for dipping.
