In honor of National Pot-Luck Day (ok, I made that up), I decided to release my super secret Tangy Cranberry-Orange Meatball Sauce! I made these for a party recently, and about killed myself trying to keep the pan filled, as the meatballs seemed to poof into the atmosphere as soon as I put them out. You can use any kind of meatball recipe for this, the secret is really in the sauce. I might release my super-secret meatball recipe on "National Meatball Day", but I don't think that's coming up for awhile.
2 14 oz cans Jellied Cranberry Sauce
2 12 oz bottles Chili Sauce
1/2 C Orange Marmalade
1/2 C Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp (more or less to taste) Balsamic Vinegar
Sprinkle of Cayenne Pepper
1/4 tsp each Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, and Ground Ginger
Mix all ingredients in a large pot over medium heat until blended well. Add your favorite meatballs and stir until the meatballs are heated through.
That's it! Transfer to a crock pot on the "keep warm" setting until ready to eat.
