Pantry Items

I'm all about fresh, local ingredients, but there are a few things I keep in the pantry at all times to cut down on the shopping time.  These are ingredients that I use frequently, in several different ways so I usually buy them in bulk (when possible) and freeze those that are perishable.

Spices:

Fresh minced garlic in the jar
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Poultry Seasoning
Pappy's Seasoning
Montreal Steak Seasoning

Canned Goods:

Chicken Broth
Diced Tomatoes

Freezer:

Frozen Berries
Almonds, Walnuts or Pecans

Pantry:

Several types of GF flour
Corn Starch
Baking Powder

In addition, I have a large herb garden with basil, sage, oregano, lemon verbena, garlic chives, and flat-leaf parsley, but it's fine to use dried if you don't have any fresh herbs on hand.
